Stainless Steel Bolts
Stainless Steel carriage bolts, hex bolts, and hanger bolts. Use in environments where extra corrosion resistance is a concern.
Carriage bolts, also known as coach bolts, have a smooth domed head and are used to fasten metal to wood or in wood to wood applications. These bolts are self-locking when placed through a square hole in metal or in a regular circular hole in wood. This is because of the square section immediately below the head. It keeps the carriage bolt from turning once installed. Our selection of carriage bolts are available in 18-8 Stainless Steel and in type 316 Stainless Steel for protection in seaside and marine environments.
Hex bolts are partially threaded (or fully threaded in the smaller lengths) with a six-sided hexagonal head. They are widely used in construction in wood and steel for docks, bridges, buildings and other industrial projects.
Hanger Bolts have a machine thread at one end and a wood thread at the other. These versatile bolts should be installed by predrilling.

Stainless Steel Lag Bolts
Stainless steel lag bolts are used in wood construction for heavy load applications. Their sturdy construction gives them extra holding power and durability that outlasts screws. Drill a pilot hole when using large diameter lags to prevent damage to the bolt.
Lag screws available in type 18-8 stainless steel and type 316 stainless steel for ultimate corrosion resistance. We provide lag screws in diameters up to 3/4". Call us for a quote -
Stainless Steel Threaded Rod
Stainless steel fully threaded rod or all thread is used as a fastener where an assembly needs stability, or the ability to withstand high levels of tension and pressure.
We stock 3 foot lengths in many diameters, while 6 and 12 foot lengths are available upon request.
Find threaded rod in either 18-8 stainless steel or typo 316 stainless steel for the bestr corrosion resistance. Choose type 316 when dealing in extreamly corrosive environments including seaside applications.
We recommend using an anti-seize compound or lubricant like WD-40 when working with any stainless steel threaded bolt or rod to prevent thread seizing.

Nuts & Washers
We carry washers and nuts in 18-8 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel in diameters up to 1".
Washers are used to evenly distribute loads of threaded bolts, screws and nuts as the fastener is tightened, preventing damage and pull through of the fastener. It also provides a flat and level surface for the nut, preventing it from later loosening or binding to the installation material.
