These coupling nuts come with 2 visible holes along the shaft. These witness holes allow for verification that rod and anchors are installed properly.

To install, tighten two threaded rods until each is visible in the Witness Hole. It is not recommended to use zinc coupling nuts with stainless steel threaded rod Any portion of thread visible in the Witness Hole is a correct installation.
