Stock items are subject to sales unit minimums. Special order items may be subject to manufacturer minimums.
Screws are sold by the 100 and hand drive nails are sold by the pound. All bolts, washers, and nuts are sold by the piece. Items prepacked by the manufacturer like nails for nail guns, Headcote screws packs etc. are packaged in specific quantities. See individual product description for details.

Yes. Create a member profile during checkout or click Member Login and register for an account there. Once you have an account, future purchases will be stored there. When you login to the account, click on order history. Find the order from the list that you would like to repeat and click on Reorder. Then simply checkout as normal.
Note that you can also store multiple shipping addresses in your address book for easy ordering. Simply click the address book when you're logged into your member account. Click add a new address. Be sure to name it something memorable in the alias section. For example, one address may be named "home", the next "NY job site", the next "Chicago Engineer's office".
Items in stock and placed M-F before 2:00pm EST generally ship the same day.
Yes, we do ship USPS Priority mail when possible. However, this is not yet available as an option during checkout. To select USPS as your preferred shipping method, choose UPS Ground shipping. In the comments section on your order, please let us know you would like us to ship via USPS. We will adjust the shipping charges when the order is processed. Please note that product dimensions, stock locations and product weight will determine if this option is feasible. To find out if your order is eligible, call us at 1-800-542-1979.

Yes, some orders are eligible for same day pick-up during our regular business hours, 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Please call ahead to ensure that we have stock available. Contact us at 1-800-542-1979. For orders placed online, make sure to write in the comments that the order is to be held for pick-up. When we process your order, the shipping charges will be removed.
Orders for in stock items placed before 2pm M-F are generally shipped out same day. Refer to the map below for time in transit for packages shipped via UPS Ground service. Questions about current stock and availability can be answered by calling 1-800-542-1979 or email us.

We have suspended all international shipping. We will ship to forwarders in the US.

Any of the "300" series, such as; 302, 302HQ, 303, 304 (18-8 types), 305 and 316 (marine grade stainless)
Even the highest quality hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) fasteners will eventually corrode and structurally fail in pressure treated wood in a wet environment. Salt water exposures will accelerate corrosion.
All are "austenitic" grades of stainless.
The 18-8 types are considered standard grades suitable for fasteners not exposed to salt water conditions.
All contain varying amounts of nickel & chromium for corrosion protection in most non-saltwater conditions.
Type 305 has higher nickel content to reduce magnetic properties and protect against head snapping of screws during cold weather installation. Type 316 contains molybdenum for salt water corrosion protection.
It contains about 2% Molybdenum, a very expensive element, for enhanced chloride (salt) corrosion resistance.
There is little difference in either tensile or yield strength.

Type 410 is strongly magnetic, 18-8 may exhibit slight magnetic properties. Types 305 & 316 are non- magnetic.
410 is a magnetic and hardenable "martensitic" form of stainless steel used for making self-drilling & tapping screws capable of penetrating mild steel. It is stronger than "300" series stainless. Normally used where strength and self-drilling properties are more important than corrosion properties. Potential structural failure of fasteners made with 410 stainless due to "hydrogen embrittlement" may be reduced by using a coated version e.g. Xylan®. 410 has less corrosion resistance than "300" types.
"Super 410" stainless contains approximately 2% Molybdenum for enhanced exterior and salt water corrosion resistance of self-drilling and tapping fasteners. Commonly sold under the Marutex® and Ultra™ stainless tradenames. The Molybdenum raises the cost of 410 stainless significantly.
